The challenge is to walk Tony Drake's 275 mile Cambrian Way Coast to Coast route from Cardiff to Conwy and be totally self-contained and unsupported with no re-supply. Wild camping, obtaining water from natural sources and carrying all food and equipment for the proposed 21 day trip. Regular running has been interspersed with various outdoor trips, including a successful traverse of...




...the Welsh 3000's, which is my second. This is a challenge, where you are required to have been at the top of all 15 of the mountains over 3000 ft in Wales within the space of 24 hours, without using any form of transport.
It also gave me the chance to trial Viewranger's live tracking system, Buddy Beacon, which worked well and gave family and friends an interesting addition to the experience.
